From left are Gladys Frost, Harry Frost, Drew Cearlock, Brett Block, chemistry teacher, and Warren Sperry, Edgar County Community Foundation development director. The PHS Advance Placement Chemistry Club receives a donation of 10 collection boxes for plastic water and soft drink bottles for recycling. With the assistance of the high school maintenance department the boxes are placed throughout the high school building to receive the recycled bottles. The boxes were made possible by a donation from the Frost Family account with the Edgar County Community Foundation, and assistance from Paris DI Supply, and the school lunch staff. Elementary students in District 95 and Unit 4 received winter coats donated by former PHS Marching Tiger, Debbie Hefner Jordy, through the ECCF. Debbie, a native of Paris, believes in giving back to her community. For the past several years, she has regularly donated to the ECCF’s Forever Fund and Coats for Kids to help those who might need a little extra help during the winter months.
